Just enter your departure city and desired destination, as well as the date you want to travel, and click on „Find Now!“. In a few seconds, you will receive information about all the intercity buses that make this route.
After clicking the „Find now!“ button, all available buses will be displayed under the search mask. Once you find a search result that best meets your need, you can click „View Deal“ to make your selection. You will then be automatically redirected to the bus company’s website where you can book your trip easily and conveniently online.
If you get a lot of results, you can sort them according to your own needs and preferences. Simply use the selection menu to the left side of the search results.
For example, you can sort buses results by price if you want to travel at the cheapest rates. If you want a ride with as few stops and detours as possible, it is advisable to sort the results according to the duration of the trip. This way you can see at a glance which bus will bring you to your destination the fastest.
Still having a hard time narrowing down your options? No problem! You can not only sort the search results, but also limit them as you like. If you have already decided on a certain provider, you can choose to only display trips from this company. If you really want to get off at a specific station, you can hide all other available bus stops with just a few clicks. If a bus is not available, CheckMyBus also displays offers for trains, carpooling and airlines. Simply select one of the small icons to the left of the search results. For instance, if you would like to take the train, just click on the slider next to the small train icon and your available train rides will be displayed.
If you activate all symbols, it is recommended to use the sort function again. This will allow you to see what the most cost-effective connection for you is.

Hi, I wish to travel by bus from Zurich, Switzerland to St Gallen, Switzerland on 21 September 2016. When I checked through your website, I could not seemed to find St Gallen destination, instead it showed arrivals at Constance central station Dobeleplatz (Germany), Meersburg church (Germany), Friedrichshafen central station (Germany), Bregenz central station (Austria), Dornbirn MessestraBe 2 (Austria), etc. Are these the buses that I should take to reach St Gallen even though their final destinations are in Germany, Austria, etc?

Is it possible to travel by bus from Basel to Lausanne

Tentatively, I would be traveling to Basel on October 5, 2016
and returning to Basel on October 7, 2016.

unfortunately there is no direct bus connection between Basel and Lausanne available right now. This is partly due to legal restrictions: The bus market in Switzerland is not liberalized yet which means that private bus companies are not allowed to offer connections between two Swiss cities.
However, you might be able to find good carpooling options between Basel and Lausanne if you check back a few weeks before your scheduled trip.

unfortunately there is no direct bus connection available between Enschede and Dortmund. Whenever there are no buses, our seach results automatically display available train connections. This is also the case for journeys between Enschede and Dortmund: When you type in your point of departure and your point of arrival, you can see all the possible departure times, from which you can choose. Since you have to be in Dortmund in the early morning, there are not so many connections to choose from. However, the train leaving Enschede at 21:52 might be a good choice as it gives you enough time to get from Dortmund central station to the airport.

Is there direct bus service from Nuremberg to Salzburg without having the change buses or trains?
Can it accommodate large size luggage as you would check in a plane? We are family of 5.

the bus company MeinFernbus offers connections from Nuremberg to Salzburg. While some of the connections are direct ones, others include a change in Munich. However, since both journeys are operated by MeinFernbus FlixBus, the schedules of the individual trips are attuned so that changing the bus is convenient.
The bus company MeinFernbus FlixBus allows each customer to take two pieces of normal travel luggage. Should you want to take a larger piece of luggage, a fee of 9€ will be charged. The suitcase’s combined size should not exceed 290cm and it should not weigh more than 30kg. Also note that the larger piece of baggage has to be registered via telephone at least 48 hours prior to departure.

I’ve followed the instructions to get a bus from downtown Seattle, WA to Surrey, British Columbia leaving Seattle in the morning of January 28, 19 but I get no answer. My friend booked her ticket from Surrey to Downtown Seattle on January 27, but said the system would not let her book her return ticket. She asked me to do so, but I don’t seem to be able to it either. Could it be that there is no way to return to Canada, or is it that I am not doing something correctly?

There do not appear to be any direct bus connections for this route in our system at this time. There are direct bus connections available from Seattle to Vancouver available in our system via Greyhound, however.
